■職務内容：
PlayStationシステムソフトウェア上でBluetoothまたは、その他無線通信のプロトコル設計を行い、それに対応するソフトウェアの実装を担当していただきます。
これらの無線通信はコントローラ、ヘッドセットなどの周辺機器で使われることを想定しており、PlayStation独自の機能を最適な形でシステムにインテグレーションすることを求められる業務です。
実装範囲は、プロトコルスタック、およびデバイスドライバが中心となります。
 
- Bluetoothの新規プロファイル、オリジナルプロトコル実装、オープンソースプロトコルスタックのポーティング
- 新規無線チップ検討、検証、ソフトウェア対応（ドライバ設計、チップ対応）
- 無線認証対応、サポート
 
■組織・職場紹介：
PlayStationシステムソフトウェアの開発の中で、特に周辺機器(コントローラー、カメラ、ヘッドセットなど)サポートに関係する、デバイスドライバ、ミドルウェア、プロトコルスタック、そしてゲームスタジオに向けたSDKの開発を担当している部署です。
世界中のPlayStationユーザーに愛されるPlayStationの周辺機器の開発を強力にサポートし、ゲーム開発者とコミュニケーションを取りながらエキサイティングなゲーム体験を創出するためのより良いソフトウェアの開発を目指しています。
 
■求められるスキル・技術領域：
【必須(MUST)】
- Bluetoothに関するプロトコルの知識、製品レベルでの開発、実装経験
- C/C++言語でのソフトウェア開発経験
 
【歓迎(WANT)】
- BlueZ等のオープンソースBluetoothスタックのポーティング経験、
  または、組み込み向けBluetoothスタックの開発経験
- Linux、FreeBSDなどUnix系OS上でのプロトコルスタック、デバイスドライバ、またはリアルタイムOSの開発経験
- Audio Codecなどの実装経験、知識
 
■求められる人物像
- PlayStationの無線プロトコル、およびそれを使った製品の開発に挑戦したい方
- コミュニケーションが得意な方
- 自身の担当の枠にとらわれず、周囲を巻き込んで問題を解決できる方
 
<英語の使用頻度・内容>
- ドキュメント、e-mailなどでの英語（Reading / Writing)は日常的に発生します。
- プロジェクトによって、海外出張、海外メンバーとのミーティングが発生します。
- 必ずしもTOEICでの高得点は求めませんが、英語を使う機会が多い職場ですので、英会話、メールでのコミュニケーションに抵抗が無い方が望ましいです。
